Wow, these past couple of weeks was so amazingly fun for me. I'm getting closer to the students at KES everyday. Oh, & guess what. I finally memorize all of the students names already. It took me awhile, but then they helped me.
I learned many new things not only from the teacher, but the students as well. Also, I got to even teach the students as well. For instance, I helped them with Spelling Words, Division, the Water Cycle, Reading & Comprehension & so much more. I even helped the class correct their work.
Hmmmm, I also did a Read-A-Loud too. I asked one of the students there, Victoria, if I could read her book in front of the class. It was a comic book with super heroes & villains. Everyone liked it. After reading , I made them do an activity. I made half of the class draw super heroes & the other half villains. I told them that the Top 4 will receive a prize from me. I gave the Top 4 to the drawings that put more effort into it. LoLz, I chose the villains because it looked so much better & it had more detail in it.
Oh, I got to grade papers too. I graded some of the students exam.
Hmmmm, am not so scared or lost to talk in front of a classroom anymore. Before, I would get stuck & just freeze because I don't really know what to say. But after being with KES for quite awhile now, I'm not scared anymore. I know what to say, how to say it & when to say it. I used the techniques we learned from Harry K. Wrong & even all the other lessons we learned from class & I incorporated it into the classroom.
