Observing With Bloom's Taxonomy

January 10, 2013 I revisited Ms. Lizama & her class at KoblerVille Elementary School; Home of the Umang (:Once I walked into the classroom, they knew me already. They thought I was going to read to them again because the last time I visited their class, I went there for a
Read-A-Loud. But this time I visited, I went there to do an Observation on Bloom's Taxonomy.

The lesson that was being covered during my visit was about Science. Ms. Lizama was reviewing her class before they took a Science Test. She called on students to answer questions from the students study guide. When ever she asks them a question, the students knew the answers to them. Well, for some of them. But the class still did a good job in answering the questions Ms. Lizama asked them.

Evaluation was the level of Bloom's Taxonomy that was being covered during my visit. I would have to say it was Evaluation because the students were solving/answering questions that Ms. Lizama asked. Also, it was a group discussion activity.

The objectives during my visit was that the teacher was reviewing her students on questions she gave to them on the students study guide & calling students individually to see whether they studied or not. Also, to review them before taking a test on it.

Funny ... Hearing their science review was good for me because even I didn't know some of the answers to the questions Ms. Lizama was asking. For example: I didn't know that you're butt muscles is called Glutiousmaximus (: LoLz ^-^
